After a day filled with shopping and sight seeing, if you find yourself on La Rambla with a grumbling stomach and a craving for authentic Spanish food, look no further than Petit Boqueria.
This lovely little bar and restaurant is tucked away down the small side street Carrer de la Petxina and boasts wonderfully fresh and wholesome dishes.
If the weather is as sunny and wonderful as it was when we were there, be sure to ask to sit outside and enjoy watching the hustle and bustle of La Rambla in the peace and quite of this little alley.
Order a plate of their flavoursome falafel or the bruschetta to start with, topped with fresh tomatoes, garlic and olive oil.
And for seconds, I can highly recommend this beauty which was most certainly the best paella I have had!
Filled with aromatic herbs, ripe juicy tomatoes and fresh seafood, this paella will certainly not disappoint.
It will fill you up, keep you warm and leave you wanting more. Another pan-full please!
Or if like Tory you prefer the seafood on your plate to have less of a face without they eyes or a tail, the salmon is certainly a good alternative. Marinated in fresh herbs and lemon and served with roasted potatoes this would make your tummy very happy too.
What restaurant would you recommend in Barcelona? Have you had the best paella in town-where was it?
