I was lost.
Lost in the world of university life, lost in the stresses of finalist exams and lost under piles of revision notes and art history books. 
But not anymore! 
Well, dreaded exams are still looming over me like a thick grey cloud and exam stress is still lingering like a bad smell does after you've just spent the day labouring at a fish market. But I thought this was certainly a justifiable reason to get distracted from Bellini's Frari Triptych just one more time if only to apologise for my absence and lack of posts. 
I have truly missed the blogesphere (more so than I thought I actually would!) and it pains me for neglecting it for so long.

It hasn't been all doom and gloom though, so I thought I would share a few pics of what I've been up to...  


  
 
  
  

It would have been a crime not to make the most of the gorgeous weather, so Cat, Emily and I strolled to one of the many lovely fields that surround campus; books, sunglasses and an ipod in tow, for a day of revising ok sunbathing and pretended we were free spirits dancing on the top of a hill! 
We then stumbled upon this beautiful creature. No, sadly not the male model on the cover of the cheeky little book (given to me by the lovely Sam), but a graceful swan making a nest beside the lake.
And when we weren't frolicking umongst nature and burying our heads in books, we were celebrating birthdays (one of the really special gifts I received from my friends was this adorable personalised mirror with my favourite quote sewn onto it) or swaying at a gig to the wonderful music of Noah and the Whale!
