Over the weekend it was my 21st birthday (I can't believe I'm officially an adult now, there's no going back!) and I received the most generous of presents, a Canon 650D.
This bad boy is my new little baby and I absolute LOVE IT!
I've wanted one for a while now as I've exhausted my iphone with my constant instagramming and my little digital camera actually has teethmarks and little craters in it-how I have no idea!
It came with a 18-55mm IS II zoom lens.
Although I've played around with a few of my friends' DSLR cameras, I'm definitely a newbie but I still managed to take some really good snaps-if I do say so myself!
My mum's sponge cake, layered with cream, fresh strawberries and passionfruit, it's a yummy light dessert for the sunny weather.
And with such lovely weather what better place to try out my new camera than the garden!
I even managed to capture this little ant marching away!
These flowers gave me such sugar cravings! Candy cane anyone?
I'm back in the bubble that is university now so it was so nice to have lovely weather and spend some time in the garden before leaving.
