I seem to be going to quite a few dim sum and sushi restaurants lately, but who can blame me when you get yummy food, delicious cocktails and a stylish setting to boot!
Tucked away behind Oxford Street, Ping Pong Dim Sum is a great place to go for lunch or dinner to relax and reenergise after a hard days shopping (sifting through those rails and lifting those heavy bags full of goodies does take its toll on you after all!)
After you've been seated at a table with wooden stools by your very friendly waiter and perused the menu consisting of a large variety of dishes, you are greeted with a unique way of ordering your food. It's your chance to play 'waitor' and tick your food choices on the list!

We both went for the vegetarian set menu which was excellent value for the amount of food we got!
And with their loyalty card you even get some nibbles and dipping sauces for free to share!

With the large quantity of unique drinks to choose from we were spoilt for choice!
But we eventually went for the Passion Fruit and Lime Ice Tea (passion fruit, fresh limes shaken with jasmine ice tea, asian basil seeds and cardamom seeds) and the Pineapple, Coconut and Lime Cooler (pineapple juice, coconut puree and a dash of fresh lime).
We were definitely impressed by the large sized glasses!

Tucking into those free tempura seaweed crackers!
I'm wearing a Lulu Guinness for Uniqlo graphic tee (and at £12.90 it's a sneakily cheep way to get a bit of designer into your wardrobe!) and a Topshop knitted stripe jacket (sold out).

Nom nom nom...
The crispy potato cakes were yummy, as were the mixed vegetable spring rolls. Though because they were made using pastry they were a bit sweet in taste.
You get a variety of dim sum too!
Here's the list of what our vegetarian set menu included and at £11 per person it is definitely good value for money compared to other similar restaurants!
Variety seems to be the word of the day here, but you really do get a wide range of dishes and especially drinks to choose from!
Ping Pong is also a great place if you're vegetarian as it offers a great selection of dishes specially catered for non-meat eaters.
Have you been before? What did you order?

The black bean, mushroom rice came in a cute little pot and was really jam packed with fresh veg and great flavours!
