Last weekend the girls and I went on a Stratford adventure before the stress of packing kicked in. We relaxed on the grass, ate lots of yummy food and of course we couldn't be in Shakespeare's town and not see a play!
We had such a relaxing day sunbathing and wandering around the shops. The park was packed, buzzing with the chatter and laughter of everyone that came out to make the most of the lovely weather.
I wore a Topshop long black skirt, my Zara strawberry tiger flats, a simple grey top, statement necklace and my Fullspot O Bag, which I bought in Venice. Their bags are amazing-they come a wide range of colours and fabrics, a variety of handles and you can get a little removable zipped bag to fit inside.
Who could say no to an ice cream when cheeky Shakespeare is offering?!
The Stratford Sweet Shop
Located on Henley Street, this little sweet shop is bursting with sugar coated goodies in glass jars, handcrafted fudge and gigantic spiralling lollipops, it's a

Box Brownie Coffee
Ranked No.1 on Trip Advisor, this little café is definitely a must when in Stratford. With homemade delicious cakes, biscuits and rolls and a very friendly welcome by the owners, we were certainly not disappointed when we entered this adorable place. I had the courgette cake which was layered with cream cheese icing and lime, whilst Cat, Emily and Tory went for the chocolate brownie which was oozing with chocolate chunk goodness!

Barnaby's Fish Restaurant
I had been craving vinegar covered batter (as you do!) so for an early dinner we headed to Barnaby's for fish and chips. We had to queue for a while, but we were served really quickly. Right by the RSC, the place has both a restaurant and takeaway area, and since the weather was still so lovely, we found the sunniest spot and ate outside. The food was yummy and the batter crispy, but sadly more vinegar was needed to satisfy my weird craving!
What could complete a wonderful day, but a Shakespearean play of course! We managed to get amazing seats for As You Like It in the stalls for £5 and the play was absolutely brilliant! Filled with humour, folk dancing and great actors, this play is definitely a must to see!
Have you seen As You Like It or been to Stratford? What's your favourite thing to do in Stratford?
